Topical vs Chronological begats Confusion
This was a fantastic performance from a coordination perspective. The musical score was superbly coordinated with the scene track, and having C3PO (or his human counterpart) narrate the story was a great touch. The impact scenes were timed perfectly with the instrumentation, giving the impression of studio synchronization even though the percussion was live.
Despite being a huge fan of the chronological story, the "topical" presentation of the Star Wars story was somewhat frustrating for both myself and my daughter. The jumping around in the chronology to "tell the story" was quite distracting.
In the end, I thoroughly enjoyed the performance and found it to be nothing short of fantastic. However, I may not attend it a second time unless someone has extra tickets to give away.
